UIC Gallery 400’s 40th Anniversary Benefit and Auction Raises $45K

UIC’s Gallery 400 and the School of Art and Art History is proud to announce that more than $45,000 was raised to support the Gallery’s VOICES Lecture Series and the School of Art & Art History students. The event was hosted by Jennifer Reeder and Tony Tasset and featured artwork previous Gallery 400 artists and UIC MFA alumni, musical performances by UIC MFA alumni, and a curated food and drink experience.

Auction Artists included the Estate of Mark Aguhar Alberto Aguilar, Carla Arocha and Stéphane Schraenen, Melina Ausikaitis, Daniel Baird, Gary Cannone, Antonia Contro, Dan Devening, Terry Evans, Edie Fake, Maria Gaspar, Adela Goldbard, Carrie Gundersdorf, Irena Haiduk, Brian Kapernekas, Byron Kim, Jessica Labatte, David Leggett, Cydney Lewis, Liz McCarthy, Christopher Meerdo, John Neff, zakkiyyah najeebah dumas-o’neal, Huong Ngô, Sherwin Ovid, Roni Packer, Scott Reeder, Karen Reimer, Melanie Schiff, Daniel Shea, Cauleen Smith, Shinique Smith, Edra Soto, Selina Trepp, and Scott Wolniak.

Performing artists included Sara Condo, DJ Dreea, Aitis Band, and Spectralina.
