Calling all artists and writers!

artOUT, the student committee affiliated with Gallery 400 at UIC, is releasing a zine in Spring 2020 and wants to show your work!

Who can submit work?

Submissions are open to all UIC undergraduate and graduate students. You do not have to be an art student to submit work.

What types of work will be accepted?

Work in any style or theme is encouraged: drawing, writing, photography etc.

When and where will my work be shown?

The zine will be produced during February 2020, and will have an official release party around March/April at Gallery 400.

Submission deadline: January 3, 11:59pm

Following on from a successful pop up exhibition in the spring of 2019, that centered on the theme of home, the 2020 artOut team extended a call or submissions for art and writing by UIC students in any department. The resulting zine, Collections, features the work of twelve UIC students from departments ranging from Bioengineering to Art Education.
