Ronald Jones (born 1952) will speak on the topic of morality. Jones applies many of the critical strategies of post-modernism to political subjects. A prominent artist, critic, and educator, he has contributed articles, essays, and reviews to Arts Magazine, Artscribe, Frieze, Artforum, Bookforum, Art in America, Parkett, Cabinet, Zone, and others. His work has been exhibited at Documenta, Kassel, Germany; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Kunsthalle, Budapest; and Kunstraum, Vienna. Recent one-person shows have been organized by the Seibu Museum, Tokyo; the San Jose Museum of Art, California; and various other galleries in Europe. Jones is represented by Metro Pictures in New York, and currently teaches at Yale University. He received a BA from Huntingdon College, Alabama; an MFA from the University of South Carolina; and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Arts from The Ohio State University.
